Medical Loan Closet

The OCCOA Medical Loan Closet accepts donations of durable medical equipment from businesses and individuals and loans it out to residents in need of it. The Loan Closet has a wide variety of items that can be helpful to people both on a long-term and short-term basis. Inventory at any given time is dependent upon the number of items donated and the demand for them.

Durable medical equipment typically available for loan:

  • Bath Benches
  • Canes
  • Commode chairs
  • Crutches
  • Folding walkers, both with and without front wheels
  • Four-wheel walkers with seats
  • Shower Chairs
  • Transfer Chairs (with feet)
  • Wheel chairs

Note: It is best to call the OCCOA Customer Service desk, at (989) 732-1122, before stopping by to ensure that what you need is available.
