Healthy Habits Made Simple
The Healthy Habits program takes place once a week on Mondays for 6 weeks, starting at 4:00pm at the University Center. The program allows for seniors and caregivers in the community to learn about how to cope with and manage habits, government food recommendations for older adults, different types of healthy foods, specific food’s nutritional benefits, different recipes, food costs, and different stores in Otsego County where you can purchase food. The main intent for this program is for participants to gain knowledge and healthy eating skills that individuals can apply in their own homes.
“People tend to complicate their own lives, as if living weren’t already complicated enough.”
