SUMMARY:The Old Depot Dining Out Program - Voucher Required
DESCRIPTION:The OCCOA provides nutritious meals for Otsego County older adults in congregate meal settings and to home-bound older adults (age 60 and older). The Dining Out program model is recognized as one possible type of congregate meal setting. Operating Standards from the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging help ensure that this valuable program is nutritionally sound\, and available on a donation basis to those who are eligible. Donations to this congregate meal program are critical to the success and sustainability of the program and are always appreciated and welcome.  Donations help extend the program to those most in need. The OCCOA offers a dining out option in partnership with The Old Depot in Johannesburg. Vouchers must be obtained beforehand from the OCCOA Customer Service coordinator at the OCCOA – Upper Level. \nPlease visit the Dining Out page on this website for complete details and menus.

SUMMARY:Michigan SOS Mobile Office Visit
DESCRIPTION:The Otsego County Commission on Aging (OCCOA) is partnering with the Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) to bring an SOS Mobile Office to its facility in Gaylord. The SOS Mobile Office will serve people in Northern Michigan who live with barriers\, including older adults (age 60 and older)\, veterans\, and people living with disabilities. The SOS Mobile Office at the OCCOA differs from the ‘brick and mortar’ SOS office in Gaylord in that it brings Secretary of State services directly to clients and participants at the OCCOA.  Other than instant titles\, people can complete the same transactions that they could at a standalone SOS office\, including first-time Michigan IDs\, driver’s licenses or ID renewals\, title transfers\, and applications and/or renewals for disability placards. SUMMARY:Mill Street Dining Out Program - Voucher Required
DESCRIPTION:The OCCOA provides nutritious meals for Otsego County older adults in congregate meal settings and to home-bound older adults (age 60 and older). The Dining Out program model is recognized as one possible type of congregate meal setting. Operating Standards from the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging help ensure that this valuable program is nutritionally sound\, and available on a donation basis to those who are eligible. Donations to this congregate meal program are critical to the success and sustainability of the program and are always appreciated and welcome.  Donations help extend the program to those most in need. The OCCOA offers a dining out option in partnership with Mill Street Diner in Vanderbilt. Vouchers must be obtained beforehand from the OCCOA Customer Service coordinator at the OCCOA – Upper Level. \nPlease visit the Dining Out page on this website for complete details and menus.

SUMMARY:Vinyasa Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Vinyasa Yoga is an arm of yoga that links breath in a continuous flowing sequence. Participants will move from one pose to another in a smooth\, almost dance-like flow. The pace will be fairly slow. Poses are held at least 3-5 seconds and sometimes longer. Flows will incorporate Sun Salutations A\, B\, and C\, Warriors I\, II\, and III\, balance poses\, and occasionally inversions.
