The meetings are ed by experienced facilitators trained by certified grief educators Julie Kettlewell and Mallory Barnes.  \nMeetings are open to anyone 18 or older in need of grief education and support. This time\, raising your own grandchildren? \nOCCOA offers a monthly Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group on the second Thursday of each month to help and care for grandparents who are in a parenting role. Each meeting includes information\, education\, and support.  \nThere is no charge to attend and caregiving is available during the meetings for your grandchildren (one week’s notice needed for each meeting).
