DESCRIPTION:Are you a parent again? This time\, raising your own grandchildren? \nOCCOA offers a monthly Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group on the second Thursday of each month to help and care for grandparents who are in a parenting role. Each meeting includes information\, education\, and support. Please note that in June 2026\, the group will meet at the City of Gaylord Elk Viewing Park for a picnic (reservations required by calling (989) 732-1122) at 11 a.m. (instead of June 11\, in the OCCOA board room at 10:00 a.m.) \nThere is no charge to attend and caregiving is available during the meetings for your grandchildren (one week’s notice needed for each meeting).
