Dining Out
The OCCOA provides nutritious meals for Otsego County older adults in congregate meal settings and to home-bound older adults. The Dining Out program model is recognized as one possible type of congregate meal setting. Operating Standards from the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging help ensure that this valuable program is nutritionally sound, and available on a donation basis to those who are eligible. Donations to the congregate meal program are critical to the success and sustainability of the program, and are always appreciated and welcome. Donations help extend the program to those most in need. The OCCOA offers dining out options at the following two locations:

Vanderbilt, MI
8:00 a.m. – Noon
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Requires a meal voucher, which must be obtained, beforehand, for a suggested $3 donation from the Otsego County Commission on Aging (OCCOA) customer service coordinator at 1165 Elkview Ave. in Gaylord (upper level).
Choices are limited to Mill Street Diner’s OCCOA Dining Out menu. Note: Menu is subject to change!
